An altogether new musical experience, GREAT WHITE is a different kind of opera. Completely sung-through, this highly theatrical new work uses Moby Dick, the true accounts of the shark attacks along the New Jersey coast of 1916, and classic monster horror flicks as inspiration for a modern musical experience that reveals the darker effects of capitalism on small town America. Using 70's rock and cotemporary music theatre to weave together the story of a close-knit community in the grips of financial ruin, GREAT WHITE sounds and looks like no other opera or musical.

Conceived by Matt M. Morrow, written by Sean Jeremy Palmer and Matt M. Morrow, and directed by Matt M. Morrow, GREAT WHITE will have one presentation on Monday, June 28th at 7pm at The Atlantic Theater Company, Studio 4.

The presentation will feature Liz McKendry (The Producers), Garth Kravits (The Drowsy Chaperone), Christopher Chew, Craig Ricks (Rent), Carrie Raukar, Carmen Ruby Floyd (Lion King) and Daniel Neer. All actors appear courtesy of Actors’ Equity Association.
